Transition Tunes — Custom Regulation Songs for Neurodivergent Kids

Status: Launch-ready package (nothing deployed, posted, or purchased). Built overnight 2026-07-14, council fixes applied 2026-07-14.

Bespoke transition songs (€79 single / €149 three-song suite) for neurodivergent kids — child’s name, special interest, and exact routine steps, written personally by Joshua (FASD dad + songwriter), production-polished with AI tools, delivered as MP3 + printable lyric/picture card.

The v1 offer (decided, not either/or): preview before pay. Intake form → Joshua writes the song → sends a 20–30 second preview by email → sends the Stripe payment link only when the parent says yes. No payment details up front. This is the trust bridge for a no-name seller at €79, and it is now the default on the landing page, in the reply snippet, and in the emails below.

What’s in this package

File What it is
SPEC.md One-page spec: customer, offer, pricing, delivery mechanics, why-Joshua, week-by-week month-one plan to $1,000
VALIDATION.md The <€50, 7-day kill-or-green-light test with explicit thresholds (3+ paid orders = go)
index.html Landing page on the Unicorn.Land design system — self-contained, drops into .deploy/transition-tunes/ once the blocking gate below is cleared
impressum.html German Impressum (§ 5 DDG), B2C version with ODR link — only address/phone/HRB/USt fill-ins remain
datenschutz.html DSGVO privacy policy covering Cloudflare hosting, Tally intake, Stripe payment, email contact, Google Fonts — same fill-ins

THE BLOCKING GATE (read first)

No deploy. No post. No link shared anywhere. Not until all three of these are true:

  1. samples/toothbrushing-sample.mp3, samples/leaving-sample.mp3, samples/zaehneputzen-sample.mp3 exist in this folder and play.
  2. The three placeholder-note paragraphs (“Sample audio coming — recorded this week” / “Hörprobe folgt diese Woche”) are deleted from index.html (each is marked with a BLOCKING GATE comment).
  3. The story-photo placeholder is replaced with a real photo (lyric card taped to the mirror beats a headshot).

The songs ARE the product proof. A page with dead players sells nothing and burns the one first impression each parent group gives you. Everything in the morning plan is ordered behind this gate.

MORNING ACTIONS (only if activating — all human-only steps)

Honest time budget: this is a ~6–8 hour Day 0, not a 30-minute one. The good news: 3–4 of those hours are at the piano.

Step 0 — The 30-minute decision (0:30)

Read SPEC.md and VALIDATION.md. The whole bet is: 3 sample songs + honest story post → 3 paid orders in 7 days. If that framing doesn’t excite you at the piano, park the idea; nothing has been spent.

Step 1 — Write and produce the three Ellis songs (3:00–4:00) ← BLOCKING, everything waits on this

Step 2 — Tally + Stripe (0:45)

Step 3 — Finish the page (0:30)

Step 4 — Deploy (0:20) — ONLY after Steps 1–3 are done

Copy this folder (index.html + impressum.html + datenschutz.html + samples/ + fonts/) to .deploy/transition-tunes/ in the main repo and push, or run it on a fresh Cloudflare Pages project for a standalone URL. No domain purchase needed for validation.

Step 5 — Distribution (1:00–1:30) — admin DMs first, posts second

Work the named channel list below. For every Facebook group: send the admin DM first, post only after a yes (or where rules clearly allow personal stories with product mention). For every subreddit: read the current rules page first — the notes below are best-effort from overnight and Reddit rules change.

Step 6 — Track the 7 days

Use the thresholds table in VALIDATION.md: 3+ paid orders by Day 7 = green light → Week 3 of the SPEC plan. 0–1 paid and <10 real demand signals = stop, total cost under €50. New metric to watch: preview → paid conversion (previews sent vs. Stripe links paid). If parents love previews but don’t convert, the price is wrong, not the demand.

DISTRIBUTION — named channels (verify before posting)

Membership counts and rules below are candidates compiled overnight and must be verified in the morning — Reddit blocked automated rule-fetching and FB group data isn’t fetchable at all. Treat every row as “confirm name, confirm you’re a member, read pinned rules” before acting. Fill the two right-hand columns as you check.

r/Autism_Parenting large (~100k+) Explicitly bans self-promotion, solicitation, and market research in most forms. Do NOT post the story with a product mention without modmail approval. Send modmail first (DM draft below); if no yes, participate only as a commenter. Modmail first, else skip
r/ADHDparenting ~20–40k Promo rules typically strict; check rule list. Same modmail-first approach. Modmail first
r/PDAAutism ~20k Community includes adults with PDA, not only parents; if posting, story-only, zero selling, link only if asked in DMs. Optional, story-only

English:

Hi! I’m a member here and a dad to a son with FASD. I wrote him songs to get through transitions (tooth-brushing, leaving the playground) and recently started writing them for other families too. May I share our story here, including a mention that I now do this for others? Happy to leave any link out — the story stands on its own. Thanks for all you do moderating this space.

German:

Hallo!

THE STORY POST (Week 1 — copy-paste-ready)

English version (adjust first line per group; post only after admin yes where required):

Transitions were the hardest part of our day. My son has FASD, and tooth-brushing, leaving the playground, getting out the door — every one of them could turn into a battle neither of us chose.

I’m a songwriter, so out of desperation I did the only thing I knew: I wrote him a song for each one. His name in it, his favorite things in it, the actual steps of our routine in it, and an ending he can hear coming so it never ambushes him.

It changed our mornings. Not magic, not every time — but the fight became a ritual, and some days he starts singing it before I do.

I recorded three of them properly and I’ll put them in the comments. If anyone wants one written for their kid — their name, their obsession, your exact routine — I’ve started doing that for other families. Happy to answer anything about how we use them either way. ❤️

German version (Pflege-/besondere-Kinder groups):

Reply snippet when someone asks “can you make one for my kid?”:

I’d love to. Here’s the little form — tell me their name, what they’re obsessed with, and the exact steps of the routine: [TALLY LINK]. You hear a 20–30 second preview of your child’s song before you pay a cent — only if you love it do I send the payment link (€79 for one song, €149 for a morning/afternoon/bedtime set, one revision included, refund if it doesn’t land). I write every song personally at the piano, so I’m capping July at 10 songs — [N] slots left.

EN email (~120 words) — Subject: A free custom transition song for one of your client families

Hi [NAME],

I’m a songwriter in Berlin and dad to a son with FASD. I write custom transition songs for neurodivergent kids — the child’s name, their special interest, and the exact steps of their routine, so tooth-brushing or leaving the playground has a predictable musical shape with an ending they can hear coming.

I’d like to give one song, free, to a client family of yours who fights a daily transition — in exchange for your honest professional feedback (and, if you think it earns it, referrals later). Samples here: [LINK].

Would that be interesting? One short call or email is all it takes to set up.

Warm regards, Joshua Haynes

DE email — Betreff: Ein kostenloses Übergangslied für eine Ihrer Familien

Guten Tag [NAME],

Why this scored high on joy

This is Joshua’s stated life goal (“write deep, meaningful, moving songs”) with revenue attached, using songs he’d write for Ellis anyway. Worst case: ≤€30 spent, ~10 hours, and Ellis keeps three custom songs.
