Bold Little Oracle — “The Second Printing” Deck Review
Card-by-card refresh plan for the 72-card base deck
Source of truth: /Users/joshua/Projects/Unicorn.Land/bold-little-oracle/src/content/base-deck.json (re-read in full for this review; every quote below is verbatim from the file).
Governing constraints (from the final strategy, §6):
- The deck stays exactly 72 cards. Slots are repurposed, never removed.
- Theme balance stays 18/18/18/18 (action/boundaries/self/clarity) — every repurposed slot keeps its original
themeId, so balance holds automatically. - Heavy gaps are reserved for The Missing Cards (paid pack): money fear, grief, heartbreak, failure that already happened, family duty. Nothing below touches those.
- Softer gaps refill the freed slots: waiting-on-an-outcome, decision paralysis between two real options, envy-as-map, patience with slow seasons, work conflict you can’t leave.
- Retired first-printing texts are never deleted — they move to the read-only “First Printing” archive for lifetime unlockers.
⚠️ AI bright line — read before using the drafts below
The strategy’s non-negotiable rule: “Every word on every card is written by a human. Our tools check for duplicates and typos; they never write.” The drafted replacement lines in §4 are direction-setters for review only — they exist so Joshua can see the intended register and gap being filled, then rewrite every line by hand. Nothing in this document ships verbatim. Treat each draft as a target to beat, not a sentence to paste.
1. Disposition summary
| Verdict | Count | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| KEEP | 43 | Ships unchanged in the Second Printing |
| REPAIR | 12 | Concept and card stay; 1–2 lines get hand-fixed (datable idiom, purple pg, “Stop…” opener, or jargon) |
| REWRITE IN PLACE | 5 | Same slot, same rough territory, fully rewritten (all are audit weakest-10) |
| REPURPOSE | 12 | Slot freed from a duplicate cluster and refilled with a new theme (5 of these are also audit weakest-10 and have drafts below) |
Writing load: 17 fully-new cards + 12 line repairs ≈ 4–6 evenings, matching the strategy’s Second Printing budget.
Duplicate-cluster collapses (the 12 freed slots)
| Cluster (audit §4) | Was | Now | Survivors | Freed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Just-start-small | 6 | 2 | #3 (“Begin badly to begin at all.”), #16 (“Momentum answers questions that thinking cannot.”) | #1, #19, #20, #23 |
| Phone-down | 3 | 1 | #30 (“Guard the gates of your attention.”) | #40, #41 |
| Notice-your-progress | 5 | 2 | #49, #62 | #7, #22, #48 |
| Inner critic | 3 | 2 | #6 (repaired), #47 | #44 |
| Goal no longer fits | 2 | 1 | #67 (“Sometimes the goal needs updating, not the hustle.”) | #9 |
| Say no / state a limit | 3 | 2 | #28 (“No is a complete sentence.”), #36 | #12 |
Freed by theme: ACT ×5 (#1, #19, #20, #22, #23) · BOU ×3 (#12, #40, #41) · SEL ×3 (#7, #44, #48) · CLA ×1 (#9). Refills below are assigned slot-for-slot, so 18/18/18/18 is preserved.
2. Card-by-card disposition (all 72)
Quotes are the pg front unless noted.
| # | Theme ID | Card (verbatim anchor) | Verdict | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | ACT-01 | “The door opens with a tiny key.” | REPURPOSE | → Waiting on an outcome. Salvage the sassy back’s “committee meeting” image for the weekly bench. |
| 2 | ACT-02 | “You have more time than your panic says.” | KEEP | Solid, distinct. |
| 3 | ACT-03 | “Begin badly to begin at all.” | KEEP | Anchor survivor of the just-start cluster. |
| 4 | BOU-01 | “Your calm is sacred real estate.” | KEEP | One of two cards allowed to keep “nervous system” (with #51). “Start charging emotional rent” is earned here. |
| 5 | BOU-02 | “Distance can be a loving act.” | KEEP | “Log off the drama and log into your life” still lands. |
| 6 | SEL-01 | “Speak to yourself as someone worth keeping.” | REPAIR | Kill “rent free” in the sassy back (“it doesn’t get to live in your head rent free”) — 2021 meme. The “troll run your inner monologue” front stays. |
| 7 | SEL-02 | “You are a work in gentle progress.” | REPURPOSE | → Envy-as-map. Progress cluster keeps #49/#62. |
| 8 | CLA-01 | “Truth is a kindness, even when it trembles.” | REPAIR | Pg front is purple (“trembles”); sassy front is a “Stop…” scold (“Stop editing the truth to make it more comfortable for everyone else”). Fix both lines, keep the concept. |
| 9 | CLA-02 | “A clear why lights the path.” | REPURPOSE (weakest-10, draft §4) | → Decision paralysis between two real options. #67 owns goal-fit. |
| 10 | ACT-04 | “Move your body, move your mood.” | KEEP | “stretch like a cat that owns the place” is the voice at its best. |
| 11 | SEL-03 | “Rest is a strategy, not a flaw.” | REPAIR | “Running on fumes is not a flex” — retire “flex” (also appears in #18). One-line fix. |
| 12 | BOU-03 | “Your time is a non-renewable resource.” | REPURPOSE | → Conflict you can’t leave (bad boss / stuck room). Say-no keeps #28 + #36. Front “Stop handing out VIP passes” dies with the slot. |
| 13 | ACT-05 | “Courage often feels like nausea plus yes.” | REPAIR | Best pg front in the deck — untouchable. But sassy front “that’s your sign” is horoscope-Twitter; replace that one line. |
| 14 | ACT-06 | “Not everything deserves your full effort.” | KEEP | “Premium energy to bargain-bin priorities” is a keeper; its “Stop…” opener fits the allowed budget (see §5). |
| 15 | ACT-07 | “Creation first, refinement later.” | KEEP | “Ship it messy, glow it up after.” |
| 16 | ACT-08 | “Momentum answers questions that thinking cannot.” | KEEP | Anchor survivor of the just-start cluster. |
| 17 | ACT-09 | “Simplify your yes for today.” | KEEP | “Too much glitter and not enough gold” is distinct. |
| 18 | ACT-10 | “Consistency quietly builds miracles.” | REWRITE IN PLACE (weakest-10, draft §4) | Poster-speak + “let that be your flex.” Consistency deserves a real card. |
| 19 | ACT-11 | “Thinking is helpful. Doing is transformative.” | REPURPOSE (weakest-10, draft §4) | “Procrastination cosplaying as productivity” is a recycled meme. → Picking the thread back up after interruption. |
| 20 | ACT-12 | “Motivation often follows motion.” | REPURPOSE (weakest-10, draft §4) | Interchangeable with #16/#23. → Patience with slow seasons. |
| 21 | ACT-13 | “Progress loves imperfect attempts.” | REWRITE IN PLACE (weakest-10, draft §4) | “Perfection is the enemy of done” is a stock proverb; #3 and #15 already own start-messy/ship-messy. New angle: declaring a thing finished. |
| 22 | ACT-14 | “Celebrate your steps, not just your finish lines.” | REPURPOSE | → Ambition owned openly (wanting more without apology). Its sassy back (“smug sip of coffee”) is gentle in a leather jacket — the tonal-drift exhibit A. |
| 23 | ACT-15 | “Flow arrives when resistance gets bored.” | REPURPOSE | Third “just start clunky” card. → Asking, not hinting (say the want out loud). |
| 24 | ACT-16 | “Ideas arrive to be built, not hoarded.” | KEEP | “Wasted sitting in your notes app” is concrete and current. |
| 25 | ACT-17 | “Balance is built from tiny course corrections.” | KEEP | Burnout angle is distinct from the rest cards. |
| 26 | ACT-18 | “Fear often protects what is precious.” | KEEP | Audit top-10; “Thank your fear for trying to keep you safe” is the gentle voice’s best back. |
| 27 | BOU-04 | “Silence is nourishment, not a void.” | REPAIR | Purple pg front; the sassy “airplane mode” back stays. One-line fix. |
| 28 | BOU-05 | “No is a complete sentence.” | KEEP | Deck’s best card. “PowerPoint of excuses” untouchable. |
| 29 | BOU-06 | “Their urgency is not your emergency.” (sassy) | KEEP | Audit top-10, both voices strong. |
| 30 | BOU-07 | “Guard the gates of your attention.” | KEEP | Sole survivor of the phone cluster. |
| 31 | BOU-08 | “Notice who feels like sunlight and who feels like a storm.” | KEEP | “If you always leave them feeling smaller, that’s data.” |
| 32 | BOU-09 | “Control is a tiring illusion.” | KEEP | “Retire from the role of cosmic project manager” — keep; note it blocks reuse of resign/retire imagery elsewhere. |
| 33 | BOU-10 | “Rest is not a reward for suffering.” | KEEP | “Angry memo” body image is good; distinct enough from #11 once #11 is repaired. |
| 34 | BOU-11 | “Single-tasking is a radical act now.” | KEEP | “You’re not a browser. Close some tabs.” — honorable mention in the audit. |
| 35 | BOU-12 | “Make time for what lights you from within.” | REWRITE IN PLACE (weakest-10, draft §4) | “Book a tiny joy appointment” is productivity culture in a wellness costume. |
| 36 | BOU-13 | “Clear boundaries invite clearer connections.” | KEEP | “‘Here’s what works for me’… the standard, not the apology.” |
| 37 | BOU-14 | “Comparison is a thief of both joy and clarity.” | REPAIR | Sassy front “Stop using someone else’s timeline as your report card” — good image, scold opener. Recast without “Stop”. |
| 38 | BOU-15 | “Clearing space invites calm.” | KEEP | “Your environment is snitching on your overwhelm” is genuinely funny. |
| 39 | BOU-16 | “A pause is a powerful answer.” | REPAIR | Pg back “where your nervous system feels flooded” — third jargon hit; rephrase that line only. |
| 40 | BOU-17 | “How you start your day whispers to the rest of it.” | REPURPOSE (weakest-10, draft §4) | Morning-routine listicle + third anti-phone card. → Being the reliable one (over-responsibility). |
| 41 | BOU-18 | “Be where your body currently is.” | REPURPOSE | Second freed phone card. → Protecting new plans from casual opinions. |
| 42 | SEL-04 | “Your body is not a machine, it is a garden.” | KEEP | “Like you’re planning to keep you” is a signature line. |
| 43 | SEL-05 | “Every emotion carries information.” | KEEP | “Your feelings are not being dramatic, they’re being specific.” |
| 44 | SEL-06 | “Confidence grows where kindness and practice meet.” | REPURPOSE | Third inner-critic card, and “It hits different” dies with it. → A body having a hard week (health-worry-lite; gentle leads per the register rule). |
| 45 | SEL-07 | “You were not meant to do life alone.” | KEEP | “Hyper independence is just fear in a power suit” — audit top-10. |
| 46 | SEL-08 | “Laughter is a pressure valve for the soul.” | REPAIR | “Nervous system” appears twice on one card (“…might scream about it” / “…nervous system care”). Rephrase both; humor concept stays. |
| 47 | SEL-09 | “Your inner critic is loud, not wise.” | KEEP | Cluster survivor with #6; “clap back with a fact in your favor” earns its slang. |
| 48 | SEL-10 | “Effort deserves to be seen, not only outcomes.” | REPURPOSE (weakest-10, draft §4) | Sixth self-acknowledgment card. → Loneliness / longing for connection. |
| 49 | SEL-11 | “You are further along than your fear admits.” | REPAIR | The “goalposts / field you’ve already crossed” front is excellent. “Check your receipts” back collides with #62’s receipts — repair here, keep #62’s. |
| 50 | SEL-12 | “You’re allowed to begin again without shaming the last version of you.” | KEEP | “Lifetime subscription to their choices” — ironically on-brand. |
| 51 | SEL-13 | “Forgiveness frees you first.” | KEEP | “Invite them back / evict them from your nervous system” — the one earned nervous-system use. Audit top-10. |
| 52 | SEL-14 | “Your body remembers everything you ask of it.” | KEEP | Slight overlap with #42 (“plan to keep it/you” echo) — acceptable; both strong. Watch in a future printing. |
| 53 | SEL-15 | “You can be proud and humble at once.” | KEEP | “Owning your gifts is not arrogance, it is accuracy.” |
| 54 | SEL-16 | “Your worth is not up for negotiation.” | KEEP | “You are not your productivity report. Read that again.” — audit top-3. Front’s “Stop treating your value like a coupon” stays within the Stop budget. |
| 55 | SEL-17 | “Joy is a form of wisdom.” | KEEP | “Serious is not the same as deep.” Becomes the primary joy card once #35 is rewritten. |
| 56 | SEL-18 | “Integrity is doing what your soul can sleep with at night.” | REPAIR | Purple pg front; the sassy “ghost your own conscience” back is great. One-line fix. |
| 57 | CLA-03 | “Better questions bring better answers.” | KEEP | The “What’s wrong with me?” → “What do I need right now?” swap is a real technique. |
| 58 | CLA-04 | “Listening is how truth feels heard.” | KEEP | “You can’t hear wisdom while rehearsing your reply.” |
| 59 | CLA-05 | “Thoughts become clearer when they hit the page.” | REPAIR | Voices are identical in content (“see what patterns emerge” vs “stop letting them throw a rave”) — sharpen the sassy back into an actually different instruction. |
| 60 | CLA-06 | “Simplicity is sophisticated.” | REWRITE IN PLACE (weakest-10, draft §4) | Current sassy scolds the reader (“you might not get it yet”). Pivot: the simple read is usually the true one. |
| 61 | CLA-07 | “You can change the story without erasing what happened.” | KEEP | “The facts are fixed. The meaning is not.” — audit top-10. |
| 62 | CLA-08 | “Evidence of your progress is already around you.” | KEEP | Progress-cluster survivor; keeps the deck’s one “receipts” line. |
| 63 | CLA-09 | “Perspective changes the size of your problems.” | KEEP | “Ask Future You what actually mattered here. The answer is usually gentler.” |
| 64 | CLA-10 | “Curiosity softens certainty.” | KEEP | “Being right is less useful than being open.” |
| 65 | CLA-11 | “Your values are your quiet north star.” | KEEP | Pairs with the new decision-fork card at #9 without duplicating it (values vs. paralysis). |
| 66 | CLA-12 | “How you say it matters as much as what you say.” | REWRITE IN PLACE (weakest-10, draft §4) | “Verbal grenades” / “scorched earth tactics” — clichés stacked. Pivot: the conversation you’re avoiding. |
| 67 | CLA-13 | “Sometimes the goal needs updating, not the hustle.” | KEEP | Goal-fit survivor; strictly better than #9 was. |
| 68 | CLA-14 | “Fear named is fear softened.” | KEEP | Decatastrophizing back is the deck’s best technique card. Audit top-10. |
| 69 | CLA-15 | “Insight often arrives in the spaces between efforts.” | KEEP | “You can’t brute-force an epiphany.” |
| 70 | CLA-16 | “Truth might sting, but it also sets you free.” | KEEP | “Comfortable lies have very expensive rent” — the deck’s second rent metaphor, but this one is earned; #6’s repair removes the collision. |
| 71 | CLA-17 | “Wonder clears fog from the mind.” | KEEP | “Awe does things to your brain that hustling never will.” |
| 72 | CLA-18 | “Reflection turns experience into wisdom.” | REPAIR | “Crime scene / curriculum” front is audit top-10 — keep. “Do a quick vibes audit” in the sassy back is datable; replace that phrase only. |
3. The twelve repurposed slots — new themes
All refills are the strategy’s “softer gaps” (audit §6), staying clear of the five heavy gaps reserved for The Missing Cards. Seed briefs are bullet-fragments only, per the content-production rules.
| Slot | New theme | Seed brief (fragments, not sentences) |
|---|---|---|
| #1 ACT-01 | Waiting on an outcome | done your part · application sent / results pending / they haven’t replied · refreshing changes nothing · hands off the oar |
| #19 ACT-11 | Picking the thread back up | interrupted ≠ ruined · no ceremony on return · avoid eye contact with the project · re-entry is smaller than it looks |
| #20 ACT-12 | Patience with slow seasons | roots before blossoms · not procrastination · don’t dig up the seeds · invisible right before it works |
| #22 ACT-14 | Ambition owned openly | wanting more is allowed · desire ≠ greed · everyone can already see it · name the want without the disclaimer |
| #23 ACT-15 | Asking, not hinting | hints don’t count as asks · resentment math of the unspoken request · direct ask, dignity intact |
| #12 BOU-03 | Conflict you can’t leave | bad boss / stuck room · no “just log off” escape hatch · keep your center, not the last word · sassy sides against the situation, never mocks the trap |
| #40 BOU-17 | Being the reliable one | over-responsibility · “they can handle it” tax · dependable people get days off · decline the unassigned job |
| #41 BOU-18 | Protecting new plans | fragile early ideas · casual opinions kill seedlings · not every seed survives a focus group · share when rooted |
| #7 SEL-02 | Envy-as-map | envy is information · the pang points at the want · read the map, don’t burn it · comparison’s useful cousin (distinct from #37) |
| #44 SEL-06 | A body having a hard week | health-worry-lite · gentle leads (register rule) · kindness without diagnosis · a body is not a broken machine · sassy sits mostly out |
| #48 SEL-10 | Loneliness / longing | quiet group chat ≠ verdict · reach without a reason · someone else is also not going first |
| #9 CLA-02 | Decision fork (two real options) | two good doors · fork where “tiny step” is useless · choosing means grieving a good option · catch which side you’re rooting for |
Coverage check against the audit’s gap list: waiting ✓ (#1) · decision paralysis ✓ (#9) · envy/wanting ✓ (#7, #22) · patience/slow seasons ✓ (#20) · work conflict ✓ (#12) · health-lite ✓ (#44) · loneliness/connection ✓ (#48). Reserved for the paid pack, deliberately untouched: money, grief, heartbreak, failure that already happened, family duty.
4. Drafted replacements — the audit’s 10 weakest
Reminder: direction-setting drafts only. Per the AI bright line, every line here must be rewritten by hand before it ships. Gentle = wise friend with tea; sassy = same friend, two glasses of wine, always on the reader’s side.
#19 ACT-11 → “Picking the thread back up”
(replaces “Thinking is helpful. Doing is transformative.” / “Overplanning is just procrastination cosplaying as productivity.”) - pg front: An interrupted thing is not a ruined thing. - sassy front: The project didn’t die. It’s been sitting there watching you avoid eye contact. - pg back: Return to what you set down — no apology to it, no ceremony. Just pick up the thread where it lies. - sassy back: Skip the dramatic reunion speech. Open the thing, read the last line you left, keep going.
#20 ACT-12 → “Patience with slow seasons”
(replaces “Motivation often follows motion.” / “Stop waiting to feel like it.”) - pg front: Some seasons are for roots, not blossoms. - sassy front: Nothing looks like it’s working right before it works. - pg back: If you’ve planted well, waiting is part of the work. Water what you started and let it be slow. - sassy back: You don’t dig up the seeds every morning to check on them. Leave it alone. It’s growing.
#18 ACT-10 — consistency, rewritten in place
(replaces “Consistency quietly builds miracles.” / “Boring habits are your secret superpower.”) - pg front: What you repeat, you become. - sassy front: Nobody applauds the forty-third day. That’s the one that counts. - pg back: Do the unglamorous thing once more today. Turning points are only visible from later. - sassy back: There is no montage. There’s just the rep, done again, by someone who kept showing up. Be that someone.
#9 CLA-02 → “The fork” (two real options)
(replaces “A clear why lights the path.” / “If your goal is fuzzy, no wonder your effort is too.”) - pg front: Two good doors is not a trap. It’s proof you built a life with doors. - sassy front: You’re not stuck. You’re waiting for someone else to choose so it can’t be your fault. - pg back: Pick the option you could explain to a friend without flinching — then give the other one a real goodbye, not a bookmark. - sassy back: Flip a coin. Not for the answer — to catch which side you’re secretly rooting for while it’s in the air.
#21 ACT-13 — declaring it done, rewritten in place
(replaces “Progress loves imperfect attempts.” / “Perfection is the enemy of done and the best friend of stuck.”) - pg front: At some point the work stops improving and starts hiding. - sassy front: You’re not polishing it anymore. You’re stalling with a soft cloth. - pg back: Ask whether one more pass would truly change it, or just delay the moment someone sees it. Then let it land. - sassy back: Say “it’s done” out loud. If the world disagrees, you’re allowed a version two. That’s how versions work.
#48 SEL-10 → “Loneliness / longing”
(replaces “Effort deserves to be seen, not only outcomes.” / “Stop pretending your hard work is ‘no big deal.’“) - pg front: Loneliness is a signal, not a verdict. - sassy front: A quiet group chat doesn’t mean you’ve been voted off the island. - pg back: Reach toward one person today without needing a reason. “Thinking of you” is a complete message. - sassy back: Send the unprompted text. Worst case they’re busy. Best case they were lonely too, and nobody was going first.
#60 CLA-06 → the simple read is the true one, rewritten in place
(replaces “Simplicity is sophisticated.” / “If you need five paragraphs to explain it, you might not get it yet.”) - pg front: When the explanation keeps growing, the answer is usually small and nearby. - sassy front: If it takes a whiteboard to justify, it’s a no. - pg back: Say what’s true in one plain sentence, just to yourself. Notice how much of the rest was padding around it. - sassy back: Finish this sentence out loud: “Honestly, I just…” — there’s your answer. No slides required.
#66 CLA-12 → the conversation you’re avoiding, rewritten in place
(replaces “How you say it matters as much as what you say.” / “Honesty doesn’t require you to throw verbal grenades.”) - pg front: The conversation you’re avoiding is already happening — in your head, on repeat, badly. - sassy front: You’ve rehearsed it forty times. They’ve heard it zero. - pg back: Say the true thing to the actual person, kindly and soon. Rehearsal was never going to make it easier. - sassy back: Open with the sentence you keep saving for last. Everything after it gets easier.
#40 BOU-17 → “Being the reliable one”
(replaces “How you start your day whispers to the rest of it.” / “Stop waking up straight into everyone else’s agenda.”) - pg front: Being the strong one is a role, not a life sentence. - sassy front: “They can handle it” is how you got signed up for everything. - pg back: Let one thing today be someone else’s to carry. Dependable people are allowed days off too. - sassy back: Decline one job you were never actually given. If it truly matters, someone will ask — out loud, with words.
#35 BOU-12 — joy without scheduling it, rewritten in place
(replaces “Joy is not a side quest.” / “Book a tiny joy appointment.”) - pg front: Delight is not a reward for finishing. It’s fuel for continuing. - sassy front: When did you last do something no spreadsheet would approve of? - pg back: Do one thing today purely because it delights you. Let it be useless, and let it count. - sassy back: Waste twenty glorious minutes on something you love. Refuse to call it a waste.
5. Voice-repair pass (the 12 REPAIR cards + deck-wide rations)
Datable-idiom purge (one line each): - #6 — “live in your head rent free” (sassy back) - #13 — “that’s your sign” (sassy front; the pg “nausea plus yes” front is untouchable) - #11 — “not a flex” (sassy front) - #49 — “Check your receipts” (sassy back; #62 keeps the deck’s single receipts line) - #72 — “vibes audit” (sassy back; keep the crime-scene/curriculum front) - Dying with repurposed slots, no extra work: “cosplaying as productivity” (#19), “It hits different” (#44), “side quest” (#35, rewritten).
“Stop…” opener budget (strategy target: <8). Verbatim count in the current deck: 13 sassy lines open with “Stop” (#6, #8, #12, #14, #16, #20, #22, #24, #31, #37, #40, #48, #54). Repurposing removes five (#12, #20, #22, #40, #48) → 8 remain. Repairing #8 and #37 brings it to 6, under budget, while keeping the strong ones (#14’s “bargain-bin priorities”, #54’s “coupon”, #16, #24, #31, #6).
“Nervous system” ration (currently 5 hits on 4 cards: #4, #39, #46 ×2, #51). Keep the two earned uses — #4 (“help your nervous system soften”) and #51 (“evict them from your nervous system”) — repair #39 and #46. Result: 2.
Purple-pg dial-down (one line each): #8 “even when it trembles” · #27 “Silence is nourishment, not a void” · #56 “what your soul can sleep with at night”.
Voice-differentiation fix: #59 — sassy back must give a different instruction than the pg back, not the same one in slang (“see what patterns emerge” vs. “stop letting them throw a rave in your mind”).
tiny/small/today ration: the 17 new cards above deliberately avoid the “pick one tiny X today” back-template (only #48’s and #40’s backs contain a single “today” each; zero “tiny”). With ~30 of 72 current backs on that template and 12 of the worst offenders repurposed, the tic drops to a signature. Rule for the hand-rewrite: no new card’s back may open with “Choose/Pick/Do one…”.
6. First Printing archive manifest
Every retired or rewritten text below ships to the read-only “First Printing” archive (lifetime unlockers) — purchased content never disappears from the device:
- Fully retired texts (17 cards): #1, #7, #9, #12, #18, #19, #20, #21, #22, #23, #35, #40, #41, #44, #48, #60, #66
- Line-level changes (12 cards): #6, #8, #11, #13, #27, #37, #39, #46, #49, #56, #59, #72 — archive the pre-repair full card text for each.
Obadiah’s Second Printing note (release notes + FAQ) should name the shape of the change honestly: duplicates collapsed, twelve new situations the deck couldn’t speak to before, slang that was already aging removed — and every first-printing card still readable in the archive.
7. What this printing deliberately does NOT do
- No money, grief, heartbreak, failure-that-happened, or family-duty cards — those anchor The Missing Cards (€4.99). The free refresh fills the soft gaps; the paid pack keeps its differentiation.
- No new themes beyond 72; no fifth theme category; theme IDs unchanged so nothing downstream (draw logic, tags, history) breaks.
- No tag-schema changes. New cards need tags assigned at write time (2 each, matching existing vocabulary where possible:
waiting,patience,envy,decision,conflict,connectionare new tag candidates).
