I’m Obadiah, and Bold Little Oracle is something I’ve been building quietly for a while now — 72 hand-written oracle cards, each one crafted in two completely different tones.

Gentle — like a wise friend sitting across from you with tea. Sassy — like that same friend after two glasses of wine.

Same truth. Different delivery. You pick what you need.

Gentle: You’ve been keeping score — hours worked, tasks completed, obligations met — as if rest is a reward you haven’t quite earned yet. It isn’t. Rest is not the prize at the end of the marathon. It’s the water station at mile three. Take it now. The race doesn’t care about your guilt, and neither should you.

Sassy: Babe. You’re not a machine, and even machines get turned off sometimes. You’ve been running on caffeine, stubbornness, and the vague promise that you’ll “rest this weekend.” It’s been fourteen weekends. Sit down. The to-do list will still be there when you get up — but you’ll actually have the energy to fight it.

A few years ago I pulled an oracle card on a genuinely terrible day.

It said something like: “Trust the process and embrace the light within.”

And I thought — okay, but what does that actually mean? What am I supposed to do with that at 2 AM when my brain is doing its thing?

That’s when the idea started. What if oracle cards actually said something? Not vague spiritual wallpaper, but real words that land differently depending on what you need to hear?

That’s why every card in Bold Little Oracle has two tones.

Gentle exists for the days when you’re fragile and you need someone to sit with you in it. No fixing. No pushing. Just presence.

Sassy exists for the days when you need someone to lovingly grab you by the shoulders and say “you already know the answer, stop asking the question.”

How the cards are written

Every single card is hand-written. All 72 cards, both tones — that’s 144 individual readings. No AI generation, no templates, no filler.

Gentle: You feel things deeply, and that’s a gift — but it also means you absorb battles that were never yours to carry. Someone else’s chaos is not your emergency. You can care about people without carrying their weight. Set it down. Your shoulders will thank you.

Sassy: You’ve been collecting other people’s problems like they’re loyalty stamps and you’re one crisis away from a free coffee. Newsflash: you’re not getting the coffee. You’re getting burnout. Their mess is not your assignment. Put down the cape — it doesn’t even match your outfit.
