POST-01 · [QUEUED] · 2026-04-17 16:30 CEST · Bluesky

Account: @boldlittleoracle.bsky.social (create if needed) Body:

Built an oracle card app for people who roll their eyes at oracle card apps.

Two voices per card — gentle, or sassy. Your call.

72 cards, hand-written, no subscription, no tracking, no 'sign in with Google' nonsense.

Pull one. See what it stirs up.

POST-02 · [QUEUED] · 2026-04-18 14:00 CEST · Bluesky

Body:

weird thing about building an oracle app: you have to write all 72 cards twice. once gently, once with teeth.

turns out the sassy ones were easier.

what does that say about me.

POST-03 · [QUEUED] · 2026-04-19 19:00 CEST · Reddit — r/tarot

Title: What do you wish oracle card apps actually did? Subreddit: r/tarot Body:

I've been using oracle/tarot apps for years and they mostly fall into two camps: way too mystical (incense-scented UI, vague vague vague) or way too generic (another "you are enough" card, okay thanks).

Genuinely curious what this community wishes existed. What's a feature you'd actually pay for? What's something every app gets wrong?

(Full disclosure: I build oracle stuff, but this isn't a pitch — I'm not linking anything. Just want to hear what you want.)

POST-04 · [QUEUED] · 2026-04-20 09:00 CEST · Bluesky

Body:

monday card. no context.

"the thing you keep checking for updates isn't going to update."

brutal. moving on.

POST-05 · [QUEUED] · 2026-04-21 14:00 CEST · Reddit — r/witchcraft

Title: Two-voice oracle experiment — does the 'gentle vs sassy' framing change how you interpret a card? Body:

Been thinking about this: when I pull a card and read it in a warm, gentle voice, I soften what it says. When I read the same card's meaning in a blunter voice, I actually hear it.

Anyone else notice this? Is it the voice doing the work, or the card?

(I'm building something in this space and this question has been nagging me. Not linking — just curious what this community thinks.)

Body:

app store connect showing 'in review' status for 72 hours is its own form of divination

POST-07 · [QUEUED] · 2026-04-23 12:00 CEST · Bluesky

Body:

pulled a card for the week.

the gentle version said "trust the process."

the sassy version said "the process is you avoiding the email."

guess which one i needed.

POST-08 · [QUEUED] · 2026-04-23 19:00 CEST · Reddit — r/WitchesVsPatriarchy

Title: What's a card (oracle or tarot) that lives rent-free in your head? Body:

Mine is The Tower. Every time. Every single time I'm about to make a 'safe' choice, The Tower shows up saying 'are you sure about that?'

What's yours?

POST-09 · [QUEUED] · 2026-04-24 09:00 CEST · Bluesky

Body:

friday card:

gentle: "you've earned rest."
sassy: "you've earned rest. take it before you collapse and call it a breakthrough."

same truth. different tone. that's the whole app.

POST-10 · [QUEUED] · 2026-04-26 20:00 CEST · Bluesky

Body:

sunday thing I keep coming back to:

writing in two voices for the same card taught me something. most of our truths don't change — just which version we're ready to hear.

gentle isn't weaker. sassy isn't crueler. they're just different doors to the same room.

POST-11 · [QUEUED] · 2026-04-27 09:30 CEST · Bluesky

Body:

monday card:
"you already know. stop polling your group chat."

rude. accurate. moving on.

POST-12 · [QUEUED] · 2026-04-28 14:00 CEST · Reddit — r/oracle

Title: Question for daily oracle-pullers: do you journal your pulls? Body:

I'm curious about practice. When you pull your daily, do you write anything down? Just sit with it? Screenshot and move on?

For me the act of writing one sentence about what the card meant TODAY is more powerful than the card itself. The card is just the prompt.

Curious how others do this.

POST-13 · [QUEUED] · 2026-04-28 19:00 CEST · Bluesky

Body:

confession: the feature i'm most proud of in this app isn't the animation or the tone toggle.

it's that there are no streaks. no guilt. no "you broke your 14-day run." oracle cards shouldn't feel like duolingo.

POST-14 · [QUEUED] · 2026-04-29 13:00 CEST · Bluesky

Body:

i built the whole app without analytics. i literally don't know who's using it. i find this enormously peaceful and also mildly terrifying.

POST-15 · [QUEUED] · 2026-04-30 11:00 CEST · Bluesky

Body:

two weeks of posting about this daily. what i've learned:

1. people want permission to hear hard things, not more affirmations.
2. sassy is easier to screenshot than gentle, so it travels further. gentle is what people come back for.
3. making something small and honest is its own kind of marketing.

onward.
