Idea 2 — Overnight Parts: CAD-by-Chat Print Bureau

Status: launch-scoped package, NOT launched. Nothing deployed, posted, or purchased. Judge triage score: 7/30 — this package exists so the idea can be tested for ≤€32 in a week, not because it’s a favorite. Run VALIDATION.md before investing anything else.

What this is

Message a Discord/Telegram bot a description or photo of a functional part (“bracket for this shelf, hole spacing 32mm”). Overnight, the agent fleet drafts parametric OpenSCAD; Joshua sanity-checks over morning coffee; the Bambu X2D prints it; most parts picked up / couriered in Berlin within 24h. €49 launch week (€59 after), €99–199 for anything with 2+ parts, €149/mo Etsy-seller jig retainer. Payment after design approval, before printing. Design+print as an overnight chat conversation — not a print farm (those need STLs), not a CAD shop (those take weeks).

The edge: agents write OpenSCAD shockingly well, almost nobody reviews it competently, Joshua can — and his always-on Mac + agent fleet + X2D are already running 24/7.

MORNING ACTIONS (only if activating this idea)

Everything below is human-only. Nothing has been done yet.

1. Decide go/no-go on the 7-day test. It costs ≤€32 and ~30 min/day. If no: archive this directory, done.
2. Pick the intake channel (5 min). Recommendation: Telegram bot via @BotFather (free, 2 min, name suggestion: @OvernightPartsBot) or just a “DM me” Discord handle. No code needed for the test — it’s Wizard-of-Oz, you relay to the agents manually.
3. Replace the TODO tokens in BOTH index.html and de/index.html (5 min). This is a find-replace, not an anchor edit — 2 CTA links per file point at https://t.me/TODO_HANDLE, plus the TODO@unicorn.land email fallback. One find-replace per token fixes everything. Then deploy: copy the directory to .deploy/overnight-parts/ in the main repo and push (or ask an agent to — deploy was out of bounds tonight).
4. Fill in the Impressum (2 min, legally required before the page or any Kleinanzeigen ad goes live). In both HTML footers replace [VOLLER NAME], [STRASSE HAUSNR.], [PLZ]. A German-language commercial offer without an Impressum is an Abmahnung magnet. The Widerruf/refund line is already written (custom-made goods, § 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB, plus the 2-revisions-or-refund promise). Also drop a real short Datenschutz text in place of the [TODO] (no cookies, no tracking, chat data only for order handling — 3 sentences).
5. Confirm invoicing basics (10 min, you’re taking PayPal money in week 1). Decide: run it through MIA (existing UG, invoices with USt) or register a Kleingewerbe with Kleinunternehmerregelung § 19 UStG (no VAT under €22k). You self-file MIA already, so you know the drill — just decide which entity invoices before the first euro arrives, and set up an invoice template (number, date, your address from step 4, “gemäß § 19 UStG keine Umsatzsteuer” if Kleinunternehmer).
6. Confirm paypal.me/[your-handle] works (2 min) and save this snippet somewhere you can paste from your phone:

   Design approved? 🎉 €49 via paypal.me/XXXX and it goes on the printer this morning. (Bank transfer works too — same-day if before 10:00.) The page already tells customers “you pay after approving the design preview, before we print” — that sequencing is the offer, honor it.

7. Order 1 spool PETG (~€22) if stock is low. Matte black is the safest showcase color.
8. Post in 2–3 places (20 min). Copy-paste-ready openers:

9. Reply to Kleinanzeigen “Suche” (wanted) ads — the highest-intent channel. Target: 10 replies per weekday. This volume is what makes 20 paid jobs arithmetically reachable (see SPEC.md funnel math). Search “suche halterung / adapter / ersatzteil / 3d druck” in Berlin. 3-sentence template, personalize the first clause:

10. Etsy-seller outreach — NEVER via Etsy DMs (violates Etsy’s message rules). TOS-safe channels: (a) their Instagram DM or website contact form (most Berlin sellers link one from their shop), (b) in person at Berlin craft markets (Nowkoelln Flowmarkt, Neue Heimat–style markets, Weihnachtsmarkt vendor tables), (c) Berlin handmade-seller Facebook groups. Attach a photo of a real showcase jig once one exists. Copy-paste pitch:

11. Do 5 free showcase parts (week 1). Film each: the chat, the SCAD preview, the print, the fit. These timelapses are the entire marketing engine — and the “Recent parts” section on both landing pages is waiting for the photos (TODO markers in the HTML).

12. Track the scoreboard daily against VALIDATION.md thresholds. Day 7: KILL / ITERATE / GREEN — and only on GREEN does the real intake bot get built (that’s a weekend of agent work, already scoped in SPEC.md step 1).
